As an Embedded Software Developer Aerospace (m/f/d), you will be part of the team at our client company in Lindenberg. In your position, you will implement technical requirements and detailed specifications for optimal utilization. You will also be responsible for defining and programming Board Support Packages for electronic control units.
A day in your life:
- Development of software for embedded systems in aerospace applications
- Implementation of technical requirements and detailed specifications to optimally utilize the architecture of hardware, assemblies, and microcontroller systems
- Definition, programming, commissioning, and testing of Board Support Packages for electronic control units
- Performing and coordinating tasks for the development of complex software applications with a wide range of functions up to certification
- Conducting software reviews for requirements analysis and software design
- Evaluation, documentation, and communication of verification results
- Active participation in the development and further enhancement of products as well as support in project work within interdisciplinary development teams
- Content and time coordination of tasks with the necessary departments
- Creation, review, and evaluation of safety concepts and analyses
What we’re looking for:
- Successfully completed studies in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a similar qualification
- Proven experience in programming embedded systems and independently implementing technical requirements
- Demonstrable experience with Model-Based Software Engineering methods and tools
- Good knowledge of C programming and microcontroller programming
- Knowledge of software development for aerospace applications (DO-178) is desirable
- Multicore knowledge is an advantage
- Proficient in English is a must have and good German is an advantage
- Team player
- Good knowledge of MS Office programs
