As General Accounting Specialist (m/f/d) you are part of the Behrco team at our client company´s site. You will ensure that all financial aspects of the client's business run smoothly. As an expert in several areas of accounting, your knowledge and motivation will contribute to the company´s success. You will have the possibility of broadening your experience while working in a future oriented business.
A day in your life:
- You perform the monthly balance sheet accounts reconciliations, the weekly cashflow management and monthly forecasting
- Analyze and plan the working capital and approve the purchase orders
- Collaborate with the accounting shared service center and support management to ensure operational excellence of accounting
- Perform SOX controls and provide reports to internal and external counterparts based on HGB, US-GAAP and tax regulations
- Check the fixed assets bookings and fixed assets reporting
- Support VAT monthly declaration and check monthly personal costs bookings
What we’re looking for:
- Commercial education with additional certified management accountant or university degree in economics, finance or business management
- Minimum three years experience in finance in a german company
- Solid knowledge in german satutory reporting and VAT
- Good MS Office skills (especially Excel)
- Your motivation, high integrity and sociability as well as your analytical and buisness oriented way of working is a benefit for the team and company
- Fluent in german and english
